When drawing up an idea for a project of a house or hotel on a mountainside, it is especially important to pre-approve the area of the site itself to the customer.
And here can help a simple piece of paper in a square or millimeter
paper and a simple pencil on which you
must first draw the boundaries of the site and the proposed entrance - it is very important!
It is worth even before the design of the building to work out a sketch plan for the basement and first floor and walkways to them, exterior stairs, and also to apply it to the same sheet.
Many questions (check me) will fall away by themselves. Of course, a well-prepared geodesy (topographic survey) of the site will immediately add speed - but you can and "by eye".
But after the geological and geodesic surveys, the architect will have a whole bunch of information for the accurate design with this sheet. Unfortunately, all this I did not have at the time of the transfer to my hands this brainchild (the box of the house without a good understanding of the volumetric-planning solution of the country hotel and its engineering systems). Nevertheless, I was able to design the bathing complex in the basement, two-tier residential units overlooking the lake and the upper terraces with separate seats for barbecues, and then - the architectural design and all engineering systems of the building: ventilation, heating, electrical and lighting. In general, the customer was satisfied with the work and offered me to do a preliminary design of his luxury village. Construction site: Russian Federation, Leningrad region, Priozersky district, Lake Pravdinskoe.

При составлении идеи проекта дома или гостиницы на склоне горы особенно важно предварительно утвердить заказчику с самим собой придомовую территорию самого участка. И тут могут очень помочь простой листок бумаги в клетку или миллиметровая бумага и простой карандаш, на котором необходимо предварительно нанести границы участка и предполагаемый въезд - так как это очень важно! Стоит ещё до проектирования самого здания немного проработать эскиз плана цокольного и первого этажа и дорожек к ним, наружных лестниц, и тоже нанести это на тот же листок.
Многие вопросы (проверьте мне) отпадут сами собой.
Конечно хорошо подготовленная геодезия (топосьемка) участка сразу прибавит скорости - но можно и "на глазок". А вот после геологических и геодезических изысканий у архитектора будет весь букет информация для точного проектирования с таким листком.
К сожалению все этого у меня не было при моменте передачи мне на руки этого детища (коробки дома без хорошего понимания обьемно-планировочного решения загородной гостиницы и ее инженерных систем).
Все-же мне удалось спроектировать дизайн банного комплекса в цокольном этаже, два двухярусных жилых блоков с видом на озеро и верхние террасы с отдельными местами под барбекю, а затем - архитекторный проект и все инженерные системы этого здания: вентиляцию, отопление, электрику и освещение.
В целом заказчик остался доволен работой и предложил мне допроетировать его элитный посёлок.
